Cherise Renee Belton

Cherise Renee Belton-Brinson was born on April 17, 1983 to Patricia Belton and Forest Belton in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Cherise has gone home to be with the most high, our God, on August 25, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father.
Reesie Cup or Ree-Ree (as we loved to call her), lived in Elizabeth most of her life until moving to Texas in 2016. Cherise attended “School 23” for elementary school, Thomas A. Edison for high school, and studied vocationally at Sanford Brown, after which she started a career in medical billing and coding.
As years continued, she ventured out from her norm and decided to travel for new experiences. Florida, Georgia, New Orleans, Dominican Republic, and even Cancun were just a few stopping points in her journey. In 2019, she started a business with her sister, Princess Brinson.  She found love in oils, scents, and aromatherapy. It led her to create Luminous Scents of Serenity and she took pride in her transition into entrepreneurship. As Cherise developed her business senses, she began preparing her daughter to do the same, if not excel, for herself. Before we were ready, “Mamacita’s Beauty” came to be, sharing the same name Cherise had given her daughter when she was only a baby.

Cherise loved and cherished her family very much, especially the love of her life, Ronnie Brinson Jr, and their 4 children: Jalon Bouldin, Brielle Brinson, Alexander Brinson, and Al-Naim Johnson. They were an enormous part of her world, but only a part of the family she gained when she and Ronnie became one.

Cherise appreciates all additional friends, family, and acquaintances she has acquired along the way to her final resting place.
