Russell Starks Jr.

Russell Starks, Jr. affectionally called Roonie, departed this life on February 5, 2021, at his home in Orlando, Florida. Russell was the oldest of two children born to Eleanor and Russell Starks, Sr., on February 15, 1961.

Russell attended the school systems in Newark and Roselle, New Jersey. Upon completing his formal education, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Missouri. Upon discharge, he returned to his family in New Jersey, married, and was the father of three sons, Russell M., Marcel, and Marquis, and grandfather to three.

In 1994, Russell relocated to Florida with family members and continued to reside in Florida until his passing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Starks, Sr. and brother, Brian Starks.

Russell leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Maurice, Marcel and Marquis, New Jersey; his devoted Mother, Eleanor (Starks) Gardner; Uncle

Edward Miller (Oriette) of New Jersey; Florence and Morris Starks, New Jersey.
