Thomas Scott Bragg

Thomas Scott Bragg (Lil Tommy, T. Bragg) the Christmas baby, born on December 25, 1974 to Joyce Brooks and Tommy T.C Bragg. He departed this life on November 1, 2021.

Tommy was educated in the Elizabeth Public Schools. He was employed at New England Motor Freight for 25 years, until they closed in 2019.  He then went on to work at Coastal Plumbing.

On November 4th, 2017 Tommy married the love of his life Charishe Amar Floyd-Bragg after being together in love for 24 years. Tommy met his best friends at 7 years old while living in Byway, Kevin Taylor and Marcus Morris.  They went fishing, played baseball, and did everything together along with Tommy’s father and father figure to them all T.C. He later became dear friends with Terrance Dove. Semaj Blow, and Todd Carson. His very special cousins/brothers Laquan Frye, Tyrice Flowers, Sharif Hazel, and Jason Bowers, special sisters/cousins, Tawana Flowers And Joan Frye who will all miss him dearly.

Tommy was loved and adored by all.  He was the life of every part, event, and family gathering.  He loved his family and loved family gatherings. As his friends and family say Tommy was one of a kind, he would give anyone the shirt off his back and there will never be another like him.

Tommy was predeceased by his loving grandmothers, Dorothy Highsmith-Bragg  and Addis Brooks and his great grandmother Grandma Sippy as we all called her, his god father John Flowers, and his loving mother-in-law Lucille Floyd.

Tommy leaves to cherish his memory, His loving wife Reese, his sons Tyree and Tommil and Step daughter Dr. Jazmin Floyd-Fabian, DMD. Three granddaughters, Mia, Talia, and Logan and one grandson Aiden. His mother whom he loved dearly Joyce Brooks and his father Tommy (T.C.) Bragg.  His sibling’s brother Brian Hazell (Lea) and sister Naimah Shakur (Tammy Hazell). His niece, who he never called by name only niece Najimah and Sumayyah, and his nephew Muhammad. Four aunts, Raquiyyah Bashir, Connie Brooks, Rev. Dr. Deborah Brooks and Nadirah Shakur. His Godmother/other mother Sharon Flowers. His sister and brother-in-law Nicole and Robert (Bo) Floyd, father-in-law David Richardson, close In-laws, Kia, Charlie and Curtis. Along with a host of loving relatives, cousins and dear friends.
